How a silly typo in my fansign application turned into a win

I was rushing to enter the ENHYPEN fansign lottery and mistyped my email address (I used .con instead of .com, classic move). To my shock, I still got a confirmation because the organizer somehow figured it out and corrected it manually. Now I have a video call scheduled, and I'm equal parts thrilled and mortified about my initial mistake.

Isn't that proof that @sarah_torres6 is wrong about most typos being harmless? When it's something you actually want, a simple error can completely shut you out if no one's paying attention.

After a similar .con typo, I now always triple-check my email before submitting anything important.

Spotlights how phishing scams BANK on these simple mistakes.

Yeah, I heard a podcast once about how data entry errors like that actually cause massive problems for event ticketing. They were saying something like 15% of sign-ups have typos, so it's cool they caught yours.

Most typos don't actually lead to any real issues.
