A rainy night in Portland led me to my new favorite band

I was visiting friends and we ducked into a basement show to escape the rain. The band had maybe twenty people watching, but they played like it was a stadium. I chatted with the singer after and they gave me a tape they recorded themselves. It sounds silly, but that tiny moment was the highlight of my trip. Now I'm obsessed with sharing their stuff online.

Do you think sharing their music online really helps them? I see it differently. Most small bands get lost in the online noise.
