My view on #CollaborationWeek going viral at work
Popular posts make it seem easy, but real teamwork takes quiet effort, not just online buzz.

Ask how many of those viral posts lead to real projects getting done. Seen plenty of hype cycles where everyone talks teamwork but then goes back to silos. The quiet effort part rings true, but it often goes unseen. What's the point of all the online buzz if it doesn't change how people work together? Makes you think if the bosses just want the look of teamwork without the actual work.

Yeah it's like those school group projects where one kid does all the work but the presentation makes it look like a team effort. Managers love the show of collaboration, the meetings and the shared folders, but the actual work still lands on one or two people grinding it out alone. You see the same thing with community clean-ups where the social media post gets 100 likes but only 3 people show up with trash bags. The buzz is just easier than the doing.
