My attempt at #KonMari organizing led to a sock avalanche.

I tried to fold everything Marie Kondo style, but now I can't find a matching pair. No wonder this hashtag blew up when everyone's closets look like mine!

Oh wait, I think you might have it backwards! The KonMari method for socks is to actually roll them into little balls, not fold them flat like other clothes. The rolling lets you see every pair at once in the drawer. Folding them stacks them, which hides the ones on the bottom and causes the avalanche.

No way, I've been folding my socks flat this whole time! I thought rolling them was just for saving space or something. Folding them does cause a mess when I dig through the drawer. Now it makes sense why I can never find the pair I want. This might change how I do my laundry. I need to try rolling them and see if it works better.

Switched to rolling my socks after my drawer became a sock black hole. Seriously, folding them was like playing hide and seek every morning. Rolling lets me see all my weird patterns at once, which is a plus. Now I don't waste time matching socks, I just grab a roll. Life's too short for messy drawers.
