Stood firm on a modification that felt wrong

It was one of those things where the guy kept insisting it was no big deal. But messing with the trigger pull on that revolver just didn't sit right with me. Turning it down was tough, but I'm glad I did.

I mean, @dylanfisher has a point, but I once refused a trigger job too because it just felt off.

Saw a Springfield at the shop last month with a trigger job. Lots of guys lighten the pull on their carry pieces. What exactly felt wrong about this one. Seems like a common change unless you're talking about something extreme.

Lots of guys lighten the pull, like you said. But unless it's really extreme, is it actually a problem? Seems like people worry too much about small stuff.
