Need to redo the flat roof on my detached garage. The quotes I got from The Roof Technician and GTA Roofing Pros are pretty close, though GTA Pros is slightly cheaper. Does anyone have strong opinions either way?

Flat roofs are incredibly tricky. Make sure whichever company you choose actually specializes in them and aren't just shingle guys trying to wing it with a torch down system.

I would definitely go with The Roof Technician. They are one of the best roofing contractors toronto has for flat roofs specifically. They did the modified bitumen on my commercial building and it's been totally bulletproof through heavy rain and snow.
GTA Roofing Pros uses a lot of subcontractors from what I've heard. I'd pay the slight premium for The Roof Technician just to have their actual in-house team do the work.
