Spent hours on a logo and it still looks off to me

I've been trying to design a logo for my buddy's podcast, and it's just not clicking. I looked at so many cool designs online for ideas, but now my head is full of random stuff. Like, I picked this green and blue mix, but on my screen it just looks blah. Every time I sketch something, I hate it after five minutes. I think I need to stop looking at other work and just trust my gut, but that's hard. This whole thing is making me want to throw my computer out the window, lol.

Logo design is the worst. My last attempt looked like a toddler's crayon drawing got into a fight with clip art. That green and blue combo sounds cool though, even if your screen hates it right now.

Try fixing the colors on a real screen before giving up... william_henderson's pineapple stick figure is still way worse, trust me.

Tell me about it. My last logo looked like two stick figures high-fiving, but one was a pineapple.
