Am I the only one who thinks the Mandela Effect is just bad memory?

I used to believe in it, but after my crew swore a movie line was 'Luke, I am your father' and I found the actual clip, I realized we all misremember things together. It's not a glitch, it's just how human brains work. Has anyone else actually fact-checked a 'glitch' and found a simple explanation?

The Berenstain Bears one got me... I had the actual book from my childhood and it was spelled with an 'e' on the cover the whole time. My brain just refused to accept it for a solid week.

Saw a whole documentary on that Berenstain thing. They called it the Mandela Effect, where a bunch of people remember something wrong the same way. Some folks SWEAR it was "Berenstein" with an 'e' sound. Makes you wonder how memory works.
