Vent: My studio's propane bill hit $800 last month and I'm rethinking everything
I've been running a small hot shop for 3 years, and I just assumed the cost was what it was. Seeing that specific number on the bill made me realize how inefficient my old glory hole setup probably is. What's the biggest single change you've made to cut your fuel costs?

Switched to a forced air burner, cut my bill in half.

Yeah, that number hits different when you see it in black and white. It's like when you finally check your phone's screen time and realize you've been scrolling for hours. You just accept the drain until you see the actual cost. I swapped out my old home water heater last year and my gas bill dropped by a third. Makes you wonder what other old setups we're just putting up with because we're used to them.
