Pro tip: Slower cooling beats rushing every time for me

Tbh, everyone says to cool stuff fast to save time, but I picked up patience and my pieces don't crack now. It really made a difference in my work.

Totally get that. I see it everywhere, like with baking or even letting a friendship grow. Rushing just seems to mess up the foundation every time.

Yeah, my friend Jake tried to fix up an old car in one weekend. He skipped steps, used the wrong parts, and forced things together. The whole thing overheated and blew a hose before he even got to the end of the block. Now it's sitting in his driveway worse than when he started. He's out all that money and time because he wouldn't just do it right the first time. Exactly like rushing the foundation.

Take learning a new instrument. If you skip the basics, your playing sounds messy and you might quit fast. Same with saving money, trying to get rich quick often leads to losing it all. It's all about that solid base, like building a house on rock instead of sand. Rushing just sets you up for trouble later!
