I rushed a color mix and ended up with mud brown instead of sunset orange
Skipping the test step made my beautiful orange turn into a muddy brown.

Skipping tests seemed fine until I ended up with mud too.

What was the worst mess you got into from skipping a step? I once didn't test my paint mix and ended up with a weird brown splotch on the wall. It took three extra coats to fix it. Now I always do a patch test first.
