TIL my $15 magnetic parts tray is way better than the old coffee can I used for years
The magnet is so strong it holds a full set of sockets, and I haven't spilled a single bolt since I switched. Anyone else have a cheap tool that totally changed their workflow?

Oh man, that's the truth. I upgraded to one of those a while back and it's a total game changer for working under a hood. No more fishing around in a dark engine bay for that one bolt that rolled away, it just stays put. I even stick mine to the fender sometimes so it's right there in my line of sight. Best fifteen bucks I ever spent on something that wasn't an actual tool.

Right? I feel like a total genius every time I use mine, which is funny because it's literally just a magnet. I used to drop so many small parts into the abyss under the car, spent more time looking for them than actually working. Now I look like I know what I'm doing, even though I'm just a guy who finally bought a magnet on a stick. It's the little things that fool people into thinking you're competent.
