Update: I was cleaning my phone's charging port wrong for a year
I kept getting that 'moisture detected' warning on my Galaxy S22, so I'd blow into the port like an old Nintendo cartridge. My buddy, who fixes phones in Phoenix, saw me do it last week and said, 'You're just pushing spit and dust in there, man.' He showed me how to use a plastic toothpick and a tiny bit of isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab instead. I tried it, and the warning was gone in two minutes. What's the best tool you've found for cleaning out a phone's charging port without wrecking it?

What about those little plastic dental floss picks? My cousin swore by them for his old phone. He'd snap off the floss part and gently scrape out lint without scratching anything. Worked way better than a paperclip.

@brown.gavin's cousin was onto something, those picks work great.

Wait, @brown.gavin, your cousin just threw away the floss part every time? That feels so wasteful.
