Showerthought: My phone's battery died right as I was checking a review for a power bank
I was in line at the airport, down to 3%, and the page loaded just long enough to see 'great for travel' before it went black. Anyone have a backup charger they actually trust?

Honestly, I used to only buy the cheap, slim ones from the mall kiosk. After getting stuck with a dead one during a bus delay, I get why you went with the camping store brick. Sometimes ugly and reliable beats pretty and useless.

That is the most perfect bad luck I have ever heard. Down to the last second too. My old power bank was a brick that died after six months. Got one from a camping store now, thing is ugly but it has never let me down.
