Saw a weird thing with phone reviews at the Apple Store in Denver

I was at the Apple Store in Denver last week, just looking around. I noticed something that really bugged me. A bunch of people were watching video reviews of the new iPhone on their phones, right there in the store. They were holding the actual phone, but staring at a screen telling them what to think about it. It felt backwards. The phone was right in their hand. They could feel the weight, see the screen. But they were just checking boxes from some guy on YouTube. I think we rely way too much on reviews now. We don't trust our own hands anymore. It's a gadget, not a mystery. Pick it up and see if you like it. Has anyone else felt this way in a store lately?

Denver's weird. People can't trust their own eyes anymore.

That husky story is classic Denver. The light here does weird things, especially at dusk. You really have to wait a second before you believe what you're seeing.

My buddy swore he saw a coyote in a little dog sweater downtown last week. He was ready to call animal control, @graceblack. Turned out it was just a regular husky with a weird shadow from a streetlight. He was so sure, but the photo proved him wrong. Makes you double-check everything you see now.
