My phone's battery died right when I needed to scan a QR code for parking in Seattle.

I was stuck in a garage for 45 minutes with a dead phone and no way to pay, so I had to walk three blocks to a cafe, buy a coffee just to use their outlet, and wait for enough charge to get the stupid app to load.

The gas station by my office has surprisingly good dark roast. I grabbed a large cup on my way in this morning and it saved the whole day. Sometimes the simple stuff just hits right.

Honestly makes you wonder how many other random spots have hidden gems like that. Like the coffee could be terrible next week if they switch suppliers.
