My phone just told me I've taken 10,000 photos with it

I was clearing some space and saw the count in the gallery app. This is the same phone I got two years ago, a Pixel 6. It's not even my main camera, I just use it for quick snaps of packages on my route or random stuff at home. Hitting five digits felt crazy, like I documented a tiny piece of my life 10,000 times without even trying. Has anyone else been shocked by a number their gadget tracked?

Honestly that "graveyard of blurry pet photos" line hit me hard. I started using the auto-delete for screenshots after 30 days and it cleared out so much junk. Tbh just sorting by "recently added" once a month helps a ton.

Without even trying" is the real story. My phone's storage is just a graveyard of blurry pet photos and screenshots I'll never look at again.

Yeah the "without even trying" part is so true. I checked my cloud storage last week and it had like 2,000 photos of my bike from every possible angle, just from trying to sell it. @holly713 is right about clearing junk, I should really do that.
