PSA: My grandpa's hand rubbed wax vs. quick spray cans today
He spent days on one coat. Now folks want it done in hours. Do we lose something with the speed?

Read an article last week about old school car detailing. It said hand rubbing wax lets you feel the paint and fix small spots. Spray cans just cover everything fast but don't last as long. My neighbor tried both on his truck, and the hand done side still looks better after rain. We lose the careful touch when we rush. Quick methods often give worse results.

For years I preferred quick spray wax, but your neighbor's test changed my mind.
