Vent: That talk with a union rep about my overtime pay made me realize I've been getting shorted for 3 years.
He pointed out I was clocking in at the wrong time by 10 minutes each shift and that added up to over $2,000 in lost wages, anyone else ever had HR fight back on your time records?

Wait, did HR actually admit to the mistake or are they claiming you just didn't notice for three years?

Honestly, would you rather deal with the headache of fighting HR over a few bucks or just adjust your clock-in time and move on? That $2,000 over three years works out to less than $2 a day, which isn't nothing but also isn't worth the stress of a whole grievance process.
