Tidying up my workshop linked to our casting process

I set up my tools the way we line up molds, and my repair jobs got much faster. Having everything in its place really helps, just like on the floor. Do you ever use work tricks for your own projects?

Heard a radio segment once that argued a clean workspace saves time but a bit of mess can spark new ideas. Makes you wonder if there's a sweet spot, right? Your mold setup sounds like it hits that balance by being organized for speed. I try to do similar when fixing things at home, keeping tools in order like my delivery route. But sometimes, letting things pile up leads to a better fix later.
