Love seeing small wins stack up. What kind of scrap are you collecting mostly? It's one of the few materials that actually gets turned into something new every time, no down cycling. A lot of people don't get how big the impact is. Our shop started with just copper and aluminum but found so much more gets tossed out.

How did you guys get everyone on board? We tried a simple chart in the break room last year and it actually worked pretty well.

We found that showing the clear results really helped. As @palmer.richard said, small wins add up, so we made sure to point out every big win. We put up a monthly count of scrap weights right by the chart. Folks could see exactly how much copper was kept from the trash, and it sparked some friendly competition between teams.
