Spotted a wildflower display at the Denver airport that gave me a new idea

They used clusters of blue flax and prairie coneflower in these modern, low concrete planters. Has anyone tried mixing native wildflowers into more structured commercial arrangements?

Forget the flowers, they put that in Denver? Their airport is a concrete bunker in the middle of nowhere. It's weird to see anything pretty there.

Actually, the airport has a pretty big art and nature program (they have that weird blue horse statue, for one). The main terminal has a lot of natural light and some nice indoor gardens. The wildflower idea is cool because it brings a bit of the Colorado landscape inside, even if the building itself feels a bit harsh. It's a good way to soften up those modern concrete spaces.

Yeah the blue horse is wild lol. I saw they planted a bunch of prairie grass and penstemons near the baggage claim last time I flew out. It actually made that long walk feel less like a warehouse.
