Chicken wire vs floral foam for large arrangements - what's your go to?

I used to always use floral foam for big wedding centerpieces but after 3 wrecks where foam crumbled and flowers fell out mid delivery l switched to chicken wire cages. Now they hold shape way better but take twice as long to build. Which method do you trust more for big pieces?

Ngl @angela_grant it's worth the extra time for big jobs that gotta travel. Foam can't hold up to that kind of abuse.

Honestly, I seen a florist on YouTube swear by wire cages for exactly this reason.

Maybe it's just me but @the_piper do we really need a whole wire cage for some flowers? Seems a bit extra unless you're growing a monster plant or something.
