A bride told me my bouquets looked too stiff and perfect

She said she wanted something more loose and wild, like a garden she just picked. I was making everything too tight and even. Now I start with a few stems in my hand and build out from there, leaving some space between flowers. It feels more natural. Has anyone else had to learn to make things less perfect?

Totally get that feedback. It helps to hold the bouquet lower on the stems while you work. Lets things fall into a more natural, loose shape instead of a tight bundle.

Used to think you needed a firm grip for control. Seeing how a lighter touch actually makes things work better changed my mind. It's a small shift with a big result.

Ever notice how this applies to so many stuff? Like gripping a pencil too tight makes your handwriting stiff, or holding a dog leash super short just makes the dog pull harder. That light touch, letting things have a little room to move, it changes everything.
