Showerthought: My kombucha scoby looks exactly like a weird pancake I left in the fridge for 3 months.

I think people get freaked out by the texture and toss it, but that's the whole point of the fermentation station. Anyone have a good name for their scoby?

What do you even name a weird pancake monster? Mine's just called The Blob. It lives in a jar on the counter and I don't mess with it. The look is part of the deal, it's supposed to be funky. Tossing it is like throwing out the whole engine of your car.
