Was putting up a fence for a buddy and we hit what felt like bedrock... two days later, still chipping away with a sledgehammer.

Heard about a guy who hit solid rock digging a pool. Ended up renting a jackhammer for a weekend, said his teeth were rattling by the end of it. Some ground just doesn't want to give up.

Two entire days of sledgehammer swinging is no joke. I remember helping my dad with a demo project once and my arms were toast after just an afternoon. The thought of doing that for two days straight makes me ache in sympathy. You must have some serious grit to push through that. I bet you slept like a rock after all that work.
