Poured concrete bases in the rain last week near Tacoma

I was setting posts for a 200-foot privacy fence and a drizzle started around hour 3. The concrete didn't set right on 12 of the posts and now they're all wobbly. Has anyone else dealt with rain ruining a pour and found a fix?

Oh man, that's brutal. I feel for you, twelve wobbly posts on a 200 foot fence is a nightmare. I've been there with rain ruining a pour on a smaller backyard patio and it just makes you want to chuck your tools across the yard. For the posts that are already set, you could try drilling some holes into the concrete near the base and filling them with a fast-set epoxy or anchoring cement. It's a pain but it might give you enough grip to stop the wobble until you can dig them out and redo them properly. Good luck with it.

Dude, hold up. Twelve wobbly posts on a 200 foot fence? That's insane. I can't believe a whole dozen of them are bad. That's not a bad day, that's a full on disaster. I'd be ready to walk away from the whole project and just let the fence fall over. I hope the guy who posted that has a cold beer and a lot of patience waiting for him at home.

Epoxy patch jobs always seem to fail six months later, you're better off digging those out now.
