I was sure my old boss was wrong about trimming a foundered horse

He told me to leave the toe long and rocker the sole on a bad founder case, which went against everything I learned. I tried it on a pony in Cheyenne last spring that was really sore, following his steps exactly. After six weeks, the horse was walking better than it had in months. Has anyone else had a good result with that method on a tough case?

That Cheyenne pony story is a huge relief to hear. It's wild when the old-school advice that sounds wrong ends up being the fix. Really glad the horse is doing better.

My buddy's dog had a weird limp and the vet told him to just let it rest for a week. Totally worked when all the online stuff said it was serious.

My mechanic fixed my truck the same way.
