Bought a digital hoof angle gauge that set me back $350 and I never use it
I saw it at a trade show and thought it would make my work more exact. After a week, I found it slower than my eye and level, plus it kept needing new batteries. I ended up going back to my old methods and now it just sits in my truck. Has anyone else had a tool that looked good but just didn't fit into your actual shoeing routine?

What's the over-under on how many times I've bought a tool just to feel fancy? I'm pretty sure my shed is a graveyard for good ideas lol.

Sell the fancy tools before the guilt sets in.

$350 for a hoof gauge? That's wild. I'd be so mad about the battery thing alone.
