That "exposed" magician video cost me $20 to debunk and it was still fake
I saw this viral clip of a guy "revealing" how street magicians do the cup and ball trick, and it looked so convincing I paid $20 for his full breakdown course. Turns out the whole thing was staged with hidden magnets and pre-cut cups, and he even admitted it later in a comment he tried to delete. Has anyone else wasted cash on these fake expose channels that just make things up for views?

The whole "exposed" genre is basically just clickbait disguised as skepticism now, and it's wild how many people fall for it. Those channels make way more money from the fake exposé than the actual magician makes from performing, which is pretty backwards if you think about it. Better to just enjoy the trick and accept that some things are meant to be mysterious, honestly.

Blame the guy selling the "exposed" course, not the magician - he probably makes more from idiots like us than street performers do from tips.

Man, you might be onto something there. I used to think the exposé guys were doing us a favor, you know, like they were keeping it real. But now I see they're just cashing in on the same mystery they claim to hate, and it's a bummer because the magician is just trying to earn a living doing something cool. That changed my whole view on it, honestly.
