The fake moon landing video my uncle swore was real back in 2019

I used to just believe anything my uncle shared on Facebook, especially that grainy moon landing 'expose' video. He kept saying NASA admitted it was fake, but I finally checked Snopes last year and found the whole thing was debunked in 2015. The video was just a spliced clip from a 1970s documentary. Now I make myself look up the source before I even click share. Anyone else have a relative who falls for the same conspiracy stuff every time?

And the wild thing is, that's just one of a dozen things he's been wrong about this decade. It makes me wonder if all these videos and so-called "proofs" are just the internet's version of that old game of telephone where the story gets more crazy every time someone repeats it.

My track record is so bad my doctor said I've got a phone tree memory. I wouldn't trust me to remember what I had for breakfast, let alone anything important.
