That time a friend swore that satirical news site was real...

My buddy Dave shared an article from a site called The Daily Bonnet about the government banning maple syrup, and he was furious about it for a whole day. Turns out it was a Canadian satire site, and he never checked the 'About Us' page where it clearly says they make stuff up. Has anyone else had a friend fall for something so obviously fake that you had to sit them down for a talk?

The scarier part is that Maple syrup ban actually happened in Quebec in 2021.
