Hit 10,000 followers on my fail compilation page and I'm honestly confused

I've been posting clips of people eating it on skateboards and tripping over curbs for about 8 months now, and my latest video of a guy faceplanting into a trash can got 2 million views. But I spent zero effort on it - no editing, just straight upload from my phone. How does something that lazy take off while my properly timed compilation of 50 fails got like 12 views?

Oh come on, you're gonna act like the algorithm is out to get you just because you worked hard? That's such a victim mentality. The algorithm doesn't care if you spent 10 hours or 10 minutes on a post. It cares about what people actually engage with. If your "hard work" didn't get views, maybe the work wasn't as good as you thought or you missed what people actually want to see. I've seen tons of lazy posts blow up because they hit the right note with people timing and luck matter more than effort. Stop blaming the robot and look at what you actually put out there.
