That guy who said 'just do shorts, they're easy money' was dead wrong
My buddy Mike kept pushing me to make YouTube shorts instead of regular videos. Said it was the only way to grow now. So I spent 3 weeks making nothing but shorts, 30-60 seconds each, posting twice a day. Gained like 50 subs but they never watched anything longer than 10 seconds. Now my channel analytics look like garbage. Back to making 8 minute deep dives and my retention is actually going up. Has anyone else found shorts to be a waste of time for real engagement?
