Showerthought: The whole 'be real' trend on TikTok feels like it's already over.
Six months ago my feed was full of people showing their messy houses and talking about bad days. Now it's back to perfect 15-second dances and skits. The pressure to look perfect just won. Has anyone else seen this flip happen?

Huh, my feed is actually the opposite now. I still see a ton of "real" stuff, but it's shifted from messy rooms to people oversharing their therapy sessions or crying in the car. Feels less like being authentic and more like a new kind of performance for views. The perfect dance videos seem almost old school by comparison.

Ugh, totally feel that @seanlee. I just mute anyone who makes their breakdown feel like a show, it cleans up my feed fast.

Crying in the car for views is a real thing now? I saw a girl do it in a Target parking lot while filming.
