Showerthought: I joined a 'silent disco' live stream and ended up dancing in my kitchen for an hour
My friend in Portland sent me a link to this new thing where everyone watches a DJ set on mute and listens with their own headphones. I figured it was a weird fad, but I put on my earbuds and started making dinner. Next thing I know, I'm full-on grooving by the fridge while my dog stared at me like I'd lost it. It felt surprisingly fun and personal, not just another noisy broadcast. Do you think these quiet, personal live events are the next step, or just a one-off gimmick?
