Ran into an old neighbor at Costco and he said something that stuck with me
He told me he quit Facebook 3 years ago and started calling people instead, said his phone actually rings now with real conversations. Anyone else notice how the people who left social media early are the ones who seem happiest now?

My sister's been off Insta for 2 years and now she actually calls me to complain about her kids instead of just posting a passive aggressive meme about it. Honestly I think she's happier but now I have to listen to the FULL story about her neighbor's lawn.

Ha! Trading one kind of complaining for another, thats a real upgrade? I'll take the hit though. At least with the phone calls you know shes actually dealing with her life instead of curating a perfect version of it. Plus you can always say you have to go if the neighbor's lawn story goes too long. Ever thought about setting a timer for her rants so you both get a win?
