My live stream froze right when I hit 500 viewers

I was doing a cooking stream from my kitchen in Austin, showing how to make a quick pasta sauce. The moment my viewer count ticked over to 500, the whole feed just froze for a solid minute. I had to quickly switch to my phone's data to get it back up, but the chat was already dead. Has anyone else had a big platform fail right at a key moment?

It's like the universe has a rule against letting you enjoy a win. The same thing happens when my printer jams right before a big deadline.

That "rule against letting you enjoy a win" David mentioned really hits home. I've wondered if it's not the universe, but our own brains being too quick to move the goalposts. We get the win, then instantly worry about the next task, so the printer jam feels like a personal attack. It makes small problems seem huge right after a success. Maybe the trick is to force a real pause to enjoy the win before tackling the next thing.
