My friend's 'day in the life' video had him making a smoothie for 45 seconds straight
We were hanging out at his place in Tacoma, and he showed me this reel he was about to post. It was just him silently staring at a blender for what felt like forever. He said the algorithm loves 'slow, authentic moments' now. I told him it was like watching paint dry, but he posted it anyway. It got a ton of comments like 'vibes' and 'this is so real.' I'm all for real content, but is staring at a kitchen appliance really the future? Or is this just the latest quiet trend that'll be gone in a month? What's the weirdest 'slow moment' you've seen someone post seriously?

Watched a guy post a five minute video of him waiting for his coffee to brew last week. He just stood there, no music, no talking. Honestly, it felt like a weird social experiment. My advice is to just let it happen. These slow trends burn out fast when everyone copies them. Next month it will be something else, probably hyper fast edits. The weirdest one I saw was someone filming their dishwasher cycle, calling it "soothing core.

@seth683 you really think it's that deep? People will watch anything, just let them have their weird little videos.
