I spent 3 days trying to get a 'vibe check' filter to work on my stories
It was a new filter everyone was using last week, but the app kept crashing. I finally got it to post after like 20 tries, but the trend was already dead by then. Does anyone think these super specific filters ever last more than a few days, or are they always a fad?

Ugh, that's the worst feeling! Honestly, I feel like the filter itself isn't even the real trend. The trend is just trying to use the new thing before it breaks. The app crashes are part of the whole joke. By the time it works smoothly, everyone's already bored and moved on to the next broken filter. It's less about the actual effect and more about the struggle to be part of the moment.

Ever wonder if the app makers do this on purpose? Like they could fix the crashes easy but they know the broken part is what gets people talking. It's free hype when everyone posts about the struggle instead of the actual filter.
