Why nobody talks about the Roush cold air intake being a waste on a 2018 5.0
I paid $450 for their branded intake kit and installed it last spring. After three months of data logging I saw zero horsepower gain at the wheels on my truck here in Phoenix. The factory box flows just fine up to 450 hp and all I got was louder intake noise and a lighter wallet. Has anyone else run actual dyno numbers on these things?

And here I was thinking $450 would get me at least a cool sticker and a few HP. Nope. Just a louder engine and the joy of explaining to my wife why our grocery budget took a hit. My 2018 5.0 actually ran worse in the summer heat here. Guess that fancy intake just heats oaks faster. Money well spent.
