Just dropped $1200 on a custom tune from a shop in Dallas and my truck feels slower now
They promised big gains for my 2016 5.0, but after the flash, the throttle feels lazy and it hesitates pulling onto the highway. I've got all the paperwork saying 93 octane and a CAI, but it just doesn't pull like it did stock. Has anyone else had a tune actually hurt performance, and did you get your money back?

Demanded a refund after my third reflash.

Custom tunes can definitely go wrong if they're not dialed in right. The shop should be willing to reflash it for you, that's part of the deal. A bad tune can absolutely make it feel worse than stock.

Wait, a shop wouldn't reflash a bad tune? That's crazy. They made the problem, they should fix it for free. Otherwise they're just taking your money and running.
