Hot take: too many guys are skipping their tuner's data logs

I see people slap a tuner on their 5.0 and never look at the logs. Been running an SCT X4 on my 2016 for about 8 months now. Checked my fuel trims last week and saw bank 2 was pulling way more timing than bank 1. Turned out I had a dirty MAF sensor that was throwing everything off. How many of y'all actually look at those logs or just send it?

Yeah how long did it take you to catch that MAF issue though? I bet if you didn't pull logs you'd be chasing a misfire or knock for weeks.

Did logging catch it for you too, or did something else tip you off?

Nothing worse than that sinking feeling when you're staring at a misfire count climbing and you're like "it's either the coil packs or something way worse." Spent a solid week scratching my head on a similar issue (bad MAF that only acted up at partial throttle) before I finally logged the fuel trims and saw it was adding like 25% fuel at idle. You guys know that moment when you see the data and just feel dumb for not logging sooner.
