Vent: That time a lash lift went sideways on me

Was doing a lash lift on a regular client in my home studio last Tuesday and the perm solution sat maybe 30 seconds too long. Her lashes turned into little crimped zigzags. I had to use a conditioning serum and curl them manually with a spoolie for 10 minutes to get them looking halfway normal before she left.

Honestly the "crimped zigzags" part got me. That sounds rough. I wonder if you could use a heated lash curler next time or something to help smooth them out faster.

Oh man, speaking of heated tools, I once tried using a flat iron on some stubborn crimps in my bangs and accidentally singed a chunk right off. Had to rock an asymmetrical fringe for like two months. The lash curler idea is smart though, if you're careful enough not to poke your eyelid.
