Update: My steamer hose blew a hole during a facial yesterday

It was a basic $150 unit from a beauty supply store, about 8 months old. I had to wrap it with electrical tape just to finish the service. Anyone know a brand with better quality hoses that won't fail like that?

Just realized you said you finished the service with electrical tape. That's some real dedication to the client right there, wrapping a busted hose mid-facial. Honestly, I'd be scared of more steam escaping and burning someone. Those cheap units are such a gamble, they work fine until they suddenly don't. You should look into buying just a replacement hose from a medical supply company, they're built for actual sterilizing steam.
