That extraction on a cystic client took me 45 minutes yesterday
I had a client come in with a deep cyst on her chin that I thought would pop in like 5 minutes. Ended up spending almost an hour just on that one spot and barely got it all drained. Has anyone else had a single extraction eat up your whole session time?

That "took me 45 minutes" line really hit home because it's the same thing with so many things in life - you think something will be quick and simple, then it just keeps going and going. Like trying to fix a leaky faucet or untangle a knot of Christmas lights, you figure it's a five minute job but an hour later you're still at it. It's funny how the little stuff always ends up eating up way more time than the big planned projects.

45 minutes for a "quick" job is really just poor planning and underestimating the task, not some universal law that small things always take longer. Shouldn't you just learn to budget your time better instead of blaming the job?

Wait, people actually time their DIY jobs down to the minute?
