Overheard a client say she dries her face with a paper towel, not a cloth
I was at a coffee shop last week and this woman at the next table was telling her friend she switched to paper towels for her face because she got tired of washing her regular towels. Said her skin cleared up in like 2 weeks. I've always told my clients to use soft cotton cloths but now I'm wondering if paper towels are actually better for acne-prone skin? Has anyone else noticed this with their clients?

Paper fibers can actually be more abrasive than old cotton cloths.

Gotta laugh at myself here because I once cleaned my phone screen with a paper towel out of pure laziness and ended up with micro scratches that looked like a tiny map of a spider web. Your mileage may vary of course, but that experience taught me to just keep a worn out t-shirt handy for screen duty instead. Old cotton may not feel fancy, but it sure beats having a screen that looks like it went through a sandstorm.

Oh man, paper towels are a trap and I learned it the hard way too. Rubbed a paper napkin across my laptop screen once and created a smeary mess that took forever to clean up properly. Now it's just old tee shirts and microfiber for anything with a screen.
