Had a random client last week who said my face felt like her baby's cheek lol

This lady in her 60s came in for a basic facial and after I finished her extractions she grabbed my hand and said my fingertips felt softer than her grandson's newborn skin. Made my whole week honestly - anyone else get weirdly specific compliments that stick with you?

Got told my hands felt like warm butter once. Still riding that high.

That's honestly one of the most unique compliments I've ever heard, @emery19. Makes me wonder what kind of vibe you give off to get a description like warm butter. You must have some seriously relaxed, comforting energy. People remember stuff like that way more than a generic "you're nice" or whatever. You should probably put that on a t-shirt honestly.

Oh yeah, "warmer than a baby's cheek" is definitely a top-tier compliment, but I gotta gently push back on @thomas_martinez about that warm butter thing. Butter can get greasy and cold quick, you know? In my experience, a baby's cheek is a way better comparison - it's soft, warm, and stays that way. I've had clients say stuff like "your hands feel like my mom's hands when I was little" and that always stuck with me too. It says a lot about the energy you put out, your mileage may vary of course.
