Can we talk about how IPL before and after pics are sometimes misleading?
I did a series of IPL treatments on a client with light sun damage about 6 months ago. Most people rave about the results after 3 sessions, but I honestly saw more change after the first 6 weeks of strict sunscreen use than the actual IPL. The clinic lighting also makes a huge difference-same face looks totally different under natural light vs their fancy treatment room lights. Has anyone else noticed the results are less dramatic when you see clients again in normal daylight?

Oh sure, nothing says "miracle treatment" like a client who's been hiding from the sun like a vampire and suddenly looks ten years younger in a dimly lit room. The real magic trick is convincing someone their bank account is lighter because of the IPL, not just the lighting. I swear half these "after" photos are just taken with the sun behind a cloud and a good filter.

Oh @nguyen.tara, EXACTLY - I got IPL and all it did was make my wallet lighter, not my face.
