A client in Denver said my extractions were too fast and it made her skin flare up for days

She told me straight up, 'You're rushing and it's making my face angry.' I used to think being quick was a sign of skill, but now I slow down and check pressure with every pore. Has anyone else had to completely change their speed after feedback like that?

Making my face angry" is such a perfect way to put it, I felt that in my own rushed past.

Watched my friend try to put on eyeliner while her bus was approaching. She ended up with this intense, focused scowl, like she was trying to solve a math problem with her face. The finished look was less "smoky eye" and more "ready to fight a parking ticket." She didn't even realize she was doing it.
